Hollywood star Dwayne Johnson is infamous for his professionalism on the sets of his movies.

According to The Wrap, an American media company, while shooting ‘The Red Notice’, Johnson was repeatedly late to the set which led to a tiff between him and his co-star, Ryan Reynolds. The pair allegedly had a clash due to Johnson’s habit of reaching the set hours late. According to TMZ, it was this unhealthy habit that left Reynolds furious and he ended up in a “huge fight” with Johnson, following which Johnson stormed off the set.

Reportedly, the pair hadn’t spoken to each other after their conflict for years but according to Page Six, the pair have now sorted things out and are back on speaking terms. “There was no stomping off set … no loud argument that’s not true. The water was under the bridge. They’re professionals,” the source said.

The former wrestling champion is set to appear alongside Marvel actor Chris Evans in a new film called ‘Red One’ releasing on 15 November, 2024. The film also stars Lucy Liu and Mary Elizabeth Ellis.

According to The Wrap, the ‘Red One’ insiders have complained about Johnson being unpunctual on set which allegedly increased the film’s budget by $50 million. They also reported that the crew claimed to see Johnson urinate in water bottles to save time. One of the insiders said, “On set, away from his trailer, if he needs to pee, he doesn’t go to the public bathroom. He pees in a Voss water bottle, and his team or a PA has to dispose of it.”

However, Amazon MGM that is presently working the actor in question, has denied the allegations.

“Dwayne Johnson and Seven Bucks have been incredible partners on Red One — a film that audiences of all ages are going to love this holiday season. Any reporting that implies that we got to this point with him showing up seven-eight hours late to set is both ridiculous and false,” said a spokesperson for Amazon MGM.

The Rock competed in his first wrestling match since 2016 at WrestleMania 40 on Saturday night. The match against him and wrestler Cody Rhodes was very exciting and Johnson came on top as the winner.
