Janhvi Kapoor has taken a significant step in her career by signing her second South Indian film, sharing the screen with none other than the illustrious Ram Charan. The yet-to-be-titled project, referred to as RC16, commenced filming today with an auspicious event held in Hyderabad, where Janhvi, Ram Charan, and the legendary music composer AR Rahman were spotted.
Dressed in a charming pastel green saree, Janhvi exuded elegance, while Ram Charan looked sophisticated in a crisp white shirt paired with matching trousers. AR Rahman, the maestro behind the film's music, looked sharp in his white formal attire. The trio radiated joy as they posed for the cameras.
On her birthday, March 6, it was announced that Janhvi Kapoor had joined the cast of RC16, adding to the anticipation surrounding the film. Directed by Sana Buchhi Babu, acclaimed for his work in 'Uppena', and featuring AR Rahman's musical brilliance, RC16 promises to be a cinematic spectacle slated for a 2025 release.

Intriguingly, Ram Charan is set to portray a dual role in the movie, with Janhvi Kapoor portraying the love interest of one of his characters. Joining the ensemble cast is the talented Mrunal Thakur, known for her role in Sita Ramam. However, the full lineup of characters is yet to be unveiled by the makers.
