Meryl Streep’s daughter Louisa Jacobson comes out as a lesbian, shares pictures with girlfriend Anna Blundell

Louisa Jacobson Gummer, daughter of renowned actress Meryl Streep, has publicly come out as a lesbian.

At 33, the actress shared heartfelt photos on Instagram with her girlfriend, producer Anna Blundell. Alongside the images, she expressed her joy with the caption: "blessed to be entering the Joyful New Era bb," accompanied by heart and rainbow flag emojis.

These photos were posted during a significant weekend, coinciding with Streep's 75th birthday on June 22. One fan commented, "Coming out at your mom's birthday is so iconic!"

Louisa, who holds an MFA in acting from the Yale School of Drama, is recognized for her role as Marian Brook in HBO's period drama series “The Gilded Age.”

In 2022, Louisa was known to be dating actor Jonathan Higginbotham, whom she met at Yale. Reflecting on dating a fellow actor, she told Vanity Fair, "It’s great in a way. We share this strange career together and can complain about the same things. He knows so deeply what it is that I do."

Louisa is the youngest child of Meryl Streep and Don Gummer. After earning her fine arts master's degree from Yale, she debuted in the TV movie “Gone Hollywood” in 2019 and gained wider recognition in 2022 with her role in “The Gilded Age” on HBO Max.
