In 'FRI(END)S', viewers are taken on an emotional journey as he portrays a young man navigating a world seemingly filled with blissful couples deeply immersed in love.

BTS' V, also known as Kim Taehyung, has once again made history,
solidifying his status as a trailblazing K-pop soloist. At the recent
Fact Music Awards, V clinched the coveted Best Music Award for his
soulful track 'FRI(END)S', marking his second consecutive win in this
prestigious category. With this achievement, V becomes the first and
only K-soloist to achieve such a feat. His song 'Slow Dancing' had
secured the Best Music Fall award at the Fact Music Awards last year.

In 'FRI(END)S', viewers are taken on an emotional journey as he
portrays a young man navigating a world seemingly filled with blissful
couples deeply immersed in love. However, tragedy strikes unexpectedly
in the video's first half, as V's character tragically loses his life
in an unforeseen accident. As the narrative unfolds, actress Ruby Sear
enters the scene, portraying V's love interest. Together, they depict
a happy couple with undeniable chemistry, standing in stark contrast
to the surrounding pairs who appear discontent and frustrated with
each other.

The music video for 'FRI(END)S' quickly garnered widespread acclaim,
surpassing 1 million views in record time and earning the title of the
fastest video on YouTube to achieve this milestone in 2024.
Additionally, the song recently achieved another milestone, surpassing
100 million streams on Spotify.

From the release of his debut solo album 'Layover' in September 2023,
featuring the mesmerising track 'Slow Dancing', to his latest
sensation 'FRI(END)S', dropped on March 15, 2024, V's dedication
towards his craft, despite his military duty, shines through.

'FRI(END)S' quickly soared to the top of international music charts,
claiming the coveted number one spot on iTunes charts across various
regions. Notably, it even secured a place on the prestigious British
Official Singles Chart Top 100, marking V's highest-charting solo
achievement on the esteemed chart.

The overwhelming support of fans propelled 'FRI(END)S' to new heights,
earning V a place in the top 20 of the Best Music Spring list
alongside other notable tracks like J-Hope's 'Neuron', PLAVE's 'WAY 4
LUV', and N.SSign's 'Happy &', among others. As a result of fans'
dedicated votes, V is set to receive the trophy for The 2024 Fact
Music Award Best Music category, representing the Spring season and
solidifying his position as a powerhouse in the music industry.
