Exclusive: Nayanthara charging Rs 7 crore for her project with Chiranjeevi, and NBK111; proves why she is the top most actress in South

Lady Superstar Nayanthara is still considered as the top actress in South Indian films. Nayanthara has many endorsments and film commitments that are her source of income.

But in the recent most films, which mark her comeback to Tollywood have paid her huge pay cheques.

Her pay structure has become a big deal in Tollywood a s producers believe she is now seeking for some of the biggest sum ever paid to a leading actress.

As per a close source, it is said that Nayanthara is getting paid Rs 7 crore for Chiranjeevi's next movie Mana Shankar Vara Prasad Garu.

"We have narrated the story to many other actresses too. A couple of them quoted a shocking figure which is nowhere close to their market. That is when we thought of approaching Nayanthara as she had earlier worked with Chiranjeevi garu. And the producers felt that paying her this figure is a lot better than what others were quoting," someone close to the production house told Moneycontrol.

The actress has charged a similar price for Balakrishna's NBK 111 and Moneycontrol has learnt that she got paid Rs 6 crore for it. She worked with Balakrishna previously in Simha.

Also, it is needed to be mentioned that the actress is quoting nowhere less than Rs 10 crore for her next Telugu movies, especially the ones where she has a lot of screen time or major roles.

A lot of producers have to reassess their budgets because of this massive spike, but there's no doubt that she sells.

On the contrary, there are not many bankable senior heroines to pair up with senior heroes. Hence, Nayanthara's comeback makes a major difference.

Her most recent movies indicate that she can play different types of characters, from big hits to ones that depend on acting. Her first Bollywood movie, Jawan, with Shah Rukh Khan, was a big hit in India and made her worth a lot more.

Nayanthara is not just an actress; she also owns Rowdy Pictures, a production company that lets her be more creative in the business.
