Mere Husband Ki Biwi actor Bhumi Pednekar groves in flight with co-passengers to promote her film

Bhumi Pednekar found a creative way to promote Mere Husband Ki Biwi

Bhumi Pednekar, popular for her role in films like Dum Laga Ke Haisha, Bhakshak, and more, is going all out to promote her latest release Mere Husband Ki Biwi. She stars alongside Arjun Kapoor, Rakul Preet Singh and Harsh Gujral. The film hit the theatres on February 21 facing stiff competition with Vicky Kaushal starrer Chhaava.

However, Bhumi got creative with the promotion and involved her co-passengers in the process. She took to her Instagram and shared a video where she was dancing with her flight’s co-passengers to the movie’s title track Gori Hai Kalaiyan.

In the video, Bhumi and co-passengers performed the hookstep of the song. Alongside the video, the actress wrote, “See you in cinemas :) #MereHusbandKiBiwi #21Feb.” She added, “Met the sweetest team of young cricketers that loved the song and ofcourse we did the hook step.”

Previously, the actress announced that Mere Husband Ki Biwi will be available with a limited-time buy-one, get-one-free ticket offer. The makers have been widely promoting but the rom-com is speculated to have less box office collection considering the popularity of Chhaava.

Mere Husband Ki Biwi is about a Delhi professional who navigates a complicated love triangle when his old flame returns to his life just as he begins falling for someone new. The love triangle leads to a series of comedic misunderstandings. The film also features Hiten Patel and Kanwaljeet Singh.

Before Mere Husband Ki Biwi, Bhumi Pednekar was seen in Bhakshak. The film was not a huge box office hit and received mixed reviews from the audience and critics alike. Bhakshak was directed by Pulkit and produced by Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment.
