The Duchess of Sussex, and former actress, Meghan Markle, has recently been in the headlines after several rumours suggested her divorce from Prince Harry. However, she has recently debunked the divorce speculations with a cryptic relationship comparison to the popular video game Super Mario Bros.
Meghan Markle claimed that she and Prince Harry are not having any marital issues and called their current relationship scenario a “honeymoon period.”
During her podcast appearance on The Jamie Kern Lima Show, the Duchess of Sussex claimed, “That man loves me so much and you know, look what we’ve built… We've built a beautiful life, and we have two healthy, beautiful children.”
The former actress reflected on her seven-year relationship with Prince Harry, referencing their journey to the 1985 Nintendo classic game of Super Mario Bros.
She shared, “I always think about it like the end of Super Mario Brothers when you get to the final level and what’s the goal? They’re like slay the dragon, save the princess. That’s my husband.”
She added, “He’s also a fox, if you haven’t noticed. My husband’s very, very handsome. But his heart is even more beautiful."
She elaborated, “You have to imagine, at the beginning it’s like butterflies, and then we immediately went into the trenches together right out of the gate, six months into dating. So, now seven years later when you have a little bit of breathing space, you can just enjoy each other in a new way. And that’s why I feel like it’s more of a honeymoon period for us now."

However, she also suggested that she could see her and Prince Harry’s marriage lasting forever.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry first met in early 2016 on a blind date and opted to keep their romance a secret until that October. The couple got engaged in November 2017 and tied the knot in 2018 in a private ceremony. The couple share two kids together, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
