Malayalam mimicry artist Kalabhavan Navas dies at 51

Veteran Malayalam actor and mimicry artist Kalabhavan Navas was found dead in a hotel room in Chottanikkara on Friday night. He was 51 years old.

Navas was a well known personality in the Malayalam film industry and renowned as an esteemed member of the Kalabhavan troupe.

Kalabhavan Navas, a seasoned Malayalam actor and mimicry performer, was discovered dead on Friday night in a Chottanikkara hotel room. He was 51.

Although official confirmation is still pending, preliminary reports indicate that the well-known entertainer may have passed away from a suspected heart attack. To determine the precise cause of death, the local police have started the inquest process.

Navas was a well known personality in the Malayalam film industry and renowned as an esteemed member of the Kalabhavan troupe.

This troupe has performed and been part of many famous mimicry and standup comedy events. Because of his quick wit and vocal versatility, he has established himself as a mainstay in live stage productions and television appearances over the years.

He often shared the stage with his brother, Niaz Bakkar, who made a formidable duo known for their entertaining and funny mimicry performances.

It is the on stage chemistry of these two that won the hearts of many and in fact led to a loyal following in Kerala and among Malayali audiences abroad. The news of his sudden death has shocked the Malayalam entertainment industry and fans. Netizens have been pouring condolences in large numbers.
