Loveyapa is particularly significant as it marks the theatrical debut for both Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor.

Junaid's first film was the Netflix series Maharaj (2024), while Khushi made her debut in the highly anticipated The Archies, which released on the streaming platform in 2023. The film is described as a "tangled tale of love and its complications with a mix of fun and laughter," a perfect blend of romance and humour.

Directed by Advait Chandan, the film is produced by Phantom Studios and AGS Entertainment. Originally released in cinemas on February 7, 2025, the movie is now available for streaming on the OTT platform.

The film also features a talented ensemble cast, including Ashutosh Rana, Grusha Kapoor, Tanvika Parlikar, and Kiku Sharda.

JioHotstar has announced the global streaming premiere of Loveyapa, a romantic comedy starring Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor.  To mark the digital debut, JioHotstar shared a motion poster on Instagram, showcasing Khushi and Junaid in a playful moment. The caption read, "Everything is fair in love & loveyapa! (Love letter emoji) #Loveyapa is Now Streaming only on JioHotstar."

At the box office, the film performed decently, earning ₹8.1 crore in India in its first nine days and ₹8.85 crore globally during the same period, according to Sacnilk.com.

In an interview with ANI, both Khushi and Junaid shared their experiences of working together. "I have one complaint from Khushi ji. Like I am a professional actor too. I used to come on time but she always reaches half an hour before the assigned time. It's very annoying. If there is a call time of 6 am, she reaches sets at 5.30 am. She always arrives early while I always come on time," Junaid humorously confessed.

Khushi responded with her reason for the early arrivals, explaining, "I get tense even if I am only five seconds late. My hair stylist and make-up team always message me to not come before them. It's a habit which I developed from my childhood. I always come early. Sometimes, the generators start after I reach the sets."
