Popular K-pop boy band BTS has recently created a buzz among their ARMY with an exciting update on their upcoming comeback album.
During a recent WeVerse livestream conversation with their fans, BTS members Jimin and V provided a major update on the BTS comeback album.
Jimin unexpectedly used the occasion to talk about BTS's eagerly anticipated return. The singer has now confirmed that the album's recording process is completed, and the group is scheduled to return with a full album in the spring of 2026.
He said during the livestream, “Everyone, we finished recording... It can now come next spring... I really want to promote our song soon.”
The update came after previous reports hinted at BTS's anticipated big comeback with what may be their largest world tour to date, which would include about 65 dates on several continents.
According to Bloomberg, the members got back together in the US in July 2025 to start working on the project, working with top producers to establish the new sound of their next era.
It was previously revealed that the album would showcase the group's more mature and strong side, opening a new chapter following their solo releases, which were primarily made during their hiatus.
BigHit Music previously explained that although the world tour's final scale and itinerary are still being decided, the enthusiasm among fans is already extremely high. 2026 is looking to be one of the most significant years in BTS's history, with the album completed and a huge international tour planned.
