On Christmas, celebrated filmmaker Karan Johar announced that Kartik Aaryan will headline a new film titled Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri under the Dharma Productions banner.

The film marks a major collaboration between Karan Johar and Kartik Aaryan, generating excitement as reports suggest Kartik will earn a substantial Rs 50 crore for his role. With a budget of Rs 150 crore, the project is being hailed as one of the most ambitious romantic comedies in recent years.

According to Zoom, Kartik Aaryan’s market value has soared after the massive success of Chandu Champion and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. His rising popularity has placed him among Bollywood’s highest-paid stars, with his Rs 50 crore paycheck reflecting his growing influence. Meanwhile, Bollywood Hungama has emphasized the scale of Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri, calling it a grand project backed by a remarkable budget.

The official announcement video, released on December 25, 2024, offered fans a sneak peek into the film. In the clip, Kartik Aaryan’s character, Ray, humorously reflects on the failures of his previous three relationships, pledging that his fourth will have a different outcome. The playful tone of the video sets the stage for what looks like an entertaining and charming love story.

Expressing his excitement on social media, Kartik Aaryan wrote, “Tumhara RAY aa raha hai RUMI. Mummy ki khaayi hui kasam, yeh Mumma’s boy poori karke he rehta hai! Super excited to return to my fav genre Rom-com #TuMeriMainTeraMainTeraTuMeri… The biggest love story coming to cinemas in 2026."

Directed by Sameer Vidwans, who previously collaborated with Kartik on Satyaprem Ki Katha, the film is presented by Dharma Productions and Namah Pictures. The production team features Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Shareen Mantri Kedia, and Kishor Arora. Slated for a 2026 theatrical release, the film is expected to offer a fresh perspective on the romantic comedy genre.
