Kartik Aaryan discusses possibility of Cocktail 2 and Luka Chuppi 2 with Dinesh Vijan, says report

Kartik Aaryan, who is currently basking in the success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, is reportedly in discussions with director-producer Dinesh Vijan for potential projects, including Cocktail 2 and Luka Chuppi 2.

According to a source reported by Bollywood Hungama, Kartik Aaryan and Dinesh Vijan recently had a creative meeting to explore potential collaborations for their upcoming film lineups. Having already impressed with sequels like Love Aaj Kal, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, and Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, Kartik is now keen on taking his acting to new heights by starring in the potential sequels of Cocktail and Luka Chuppi.

The source stated, "Kartik in particular enquired about the possibilities of Cocktail 2 with him in the lead, as he is a big fan of the first film, especially the part of Deepika Padukone. The conversation ended on an open-ended note with the hope of teaming up on a project soon. Dinesh Vijan is also excited to partner with Kartik Aaryan, after the success he has achieved through his own efforts with the Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise."

The source mentioned that Luka Chuppi was a major success, and there have been discussions about the possibility of Luka Chuppi 2. A clear decision on the sequel is expected to be made soon. Both Dinesh Vijan and Kartik Aaryan are reportedly eager to collaborate and continue building a successful franchise, as the success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa has demonstrated the strength of the combination of a franchise with Kartik in the current film landscape.

Kartik Aaryan starred alongside Triptii Dimri, Madhuri Dixit and Vidya Balan in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 which has proved to be a blockbuster at the box office after earning more than Rs 300 crore worldwide, evening surpassing Singham Again at the box office. The horror-comedy is still showing in theatres.
