Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan recently traveled to Delhi with the entire Kapoor family for a special meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Accompanying her were her husband Saif Ali Khan, sister Karisma Kapoor, brother Ranbir Kapoor, sister-in-law Alia Bhatt, and other family members.
Since her kids, Taimur and Jeh Ali Khan, couldn’t attend the celebration, Kareena Kapoor Khan ensured they felt included by bringing back thoughtful gifts for them. Known for her dedication as a mother, Kareena made it a point to create special moments for her sons.
Taking to her Instagram, Kareena Kapoor took to her stories, and shared a picture of a note which was being signed by Narendra modi himself.
The note said, "Tim & Jeh" as it was being signed by the PM.
The Kapoor family, including Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Karisma Kapoor, met with PM Modi as part of a larger gathering to extend an invitation to the Raj Kapoor Film Festival, commemorating the 100th birth anniversary of the iconic actor.
Ranbir Kapoor's sister, Riddhima Kapoor, also joined the family for this memorable occasion.
Her husband and businessman Bharat Sahni was also present and he shared some lovely pictures from the meeting as well.
Riddhima Kapoor took to her Instagram to share a heartfelt note expressing her gratitude. She wrote, "They say manifest and it happens. When honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji took the oath for the first time in 2014, I had really wished to meet him purely owing to his dynamism and charisma….."
Riddhima continued, "10 years later I had the privilege and the sheer honour of meeting him and as a representative of my family to celebrate my grandfather Shri Raj Kapoor ji who has left behind his legacy and impeccable body of work. As the world gears up to celebrate my grandfather’s 100th birth anniversary, our hearts are filled with gratitude for the almighty, our Prime Minister for making time and sharing his love for my grandfather and each one of you for loving each one of us! #100yearsOfRajKapoor"
