In a recent candid interview with actor Vicky Kaushal for The Hollywood Reporter India, the actress disclosed the diet she adhered to while filming the movie, leaving Vicky in complete shock.
Kareena revealed that she is a die-hard foodie at heart during their conversation about their personal and professional lives. Bonding over their shared Punjabi roots and love for rich, hearty meals, Vicky said, “I can't be like that. There's always some space for biryani,” to which Kareena instantly quipped, “And white butter.” Vicky, echoing every Punjabi’s sentiment, laughed, “I think we Punjabis don't get affected by white butter anymore.”
Kareena, in her signature candid style, added, “Haina? Main toh bol bol ke thak gayi. I can't function without it. I need aloo paratha every 2-3 days with white makkhan.” Vicky, clearly amused and surprised, then asked what she would do if she had to get back to that iconic Tashan physique.
To everyone’s surprise, Kareena revealed, “But I used to eat paratha and white makkhan for breakfast during Tashan also. You can taper down food during the day but in the morning you can have a good breakfast.”
Vicky was shocked by her revelation because it debunked the common misconceptions about rigorous exercise and diet plans. It is truly amazing that Kareena was able to maintain her extremely trim figure while indulging in parathas and white butter, which further solidifies her reputation as a trailblazer who strikes a balance between indulgence in food and exercise.
