Kanye West, known as Ye's X account has been deactivated recently amidst him grabbing the headlines for his controversial comments lately and anti-Semitic posts on X.
West's X account became a platform for his unfiltered thoughts, leading to widespread criticism. He posted a series of controversial statements, including anti-Semitic, misogynistic, and racist remarks.
The rapper declared himself a Nazi, insulted Jews, asked for Sean P Diddy to be released from prison, he even put up clothes that promoted Nazis up for sale on his official site. He also criticized overweight women and posted porn on X account.
He had further thanked Elon Musk, owner of X, before his account was locked out. "I'm logging out of Twitter. I appreciate Elon for allowing me to vent. It has been very cathartic to use the world as a sounding board. It was like an Ayahuasca trip. Love all of you who gave me your energy and attention. To we connect again. Good afternoon and good night," the post read.
Ye sparked further outrage by featuring a white T-shirt with a black swastika—historically associated with Adolf Hitler’s Nazi regime—in a bizarre Super Bowl ad. In addition to promoting Nazi-related imagery, he made derogatory remarks about overweight women and even shared explicit adult content on his X account. Due to the disturbing nature of his posts, the platform flagged his account with a "sensitive content warning."
His actions led to widespread criticism, with celebrities like David Schwimmer and Piers Morgan publicly calling for X to ban him from the platform.
Kanye West's X account was deleted after he went on a rant about Taylor Swift, who was attending the Super Bowl to support her boyfriend, Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs. This reignited their long-standing feud, which dates back to 2009 when West infamously interrupted Swift on stage at the MTV Video Music Awards.
