Hombale Films and PVR INOX, India's biggest and most upscale movie theatre chain, have teamed up for an impressive Independence Day weekend celebration that combines innovative technology with traditional storytelling.

In an innovative first, the movie studio has redesigned its iconic logo by fusing Kantara's fiery fire motifs. This gives viewers a striking preview of the eagerly awaited Kantara: Chapter 1, which opens in theatres on October 2.

From 14 August, viewers attending screenings of Coolie and War 2 across the country will see PVR INOX’s logo transformed into a high-definition fire-themed animation. This reimagined sequence, brought to life through advanced on-screen projection systems and state-of-the-art digital mastering, captures the raw energy and cultural resonance of Kantara, while illustrating how a brand identity can be turned into an immersive visual experience.

The fiery logo will illuminate screens in every PVR INOX theatre, acting as a powerful curtain-raiser for one of the year’s most awaited films.

Commenting on the initiative, Gautam Dutta, CEO – Revenue & Operations, PVR INOX Ltd., said: “Cinema is more than just entertainment it is an emotion that unites a nation. At PVR INOX, we constantly strive to create larger-than-life experiences that go beyond the screen. By infusing the elemental energy of Kantara into our iconic logo, we are honouring India’s rich cultural narratives while setting new benchmarks for how films are celebrated. This is not just a logo change; it’s an invitation for audiences to step into an unforgettable world of storytelling.”

Sharing his thoughts, Vijay Kiragandur, Producer & Founder of Hombale Films, remarked: “We are honoured that India’s largest multiplex chain, which has the biggest audience interface across the globe, has decided to celebrate Kantara in this unique manner. It is indeed a special idea that is nothing less than a celebration of India’s rich culture, especially on this Independence Day.
