Girls’ Generation's Taeyeon has made a significant statement amidst
the recent turmoil in the K-pop industry, particularly the feud
between HYBE and its subsidiary ADOR’s CEO Min Hee Jin. This conflict
sent shockwaves throughout the industry, leaving fans divided in their
opinions. However, Taeyeon's latest Instagram story update sheds light
on her stance, offering support to NewJeans, a K-pop girl group under
ADOR.
On May 11, Taeyeon took to Instagram, sharing a screenshot of herself
streaming NewJeans’ track 'Cool With You'. This simple gesture
instantly garnered attention online, with fans commending Taeyeon for
her support of the group. NewJeans’ 'Cool With You' is a B-side track
from their second mini-album 'Get Up', released on July 21, 2023. The
album features a total of five songs, each receiving praise from fans
for their unique blend of Y2K aesthetics with contemporary and R&B
music genres.

Recently, Danielle from NewJeans shared insights into her journey and
experiences with the agency amidst the ongoing feud between ADOR and
HYBE. "There are some Bunnies who are worried about me because I have
been quieter than usual. Thank you so much for looking out for me and
supporting me. Although I’ve had a heavy heart recently, we are all
doing our best to prepare for Bunnies, so you don’t have to worry. We
have so much that we want to show you, so please watch for us,"
Danielle wrote.
Taeyeon’s influence extends beyond her support for NewJeans. As a
member of Girls’ Generation, she has been a trailblazer in the
industry since the group's debut under SM Entertainment. In 2015, she
ventured into her solo career with the release of her first extended
play 'I'. Over the years, Taeyeon has continued to evolve as an
artist, participating in sub-units like Girls’ Generation-Oh!GG and
the supergroup 'Got The Beat'.
In November 2023, Taeyeon released her fifth extended play 'TO X' and
is set to return with her fourth full-length solo album later in 2024.
Additionally, she has expanded her presence beyond music, recently
joining the cast of the Netflix reality show 'Zombieverse' season 2.
