Former Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Channi visited the residence of late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala in Musa village on Monday to take part in the first birthday celebrations of Moosewala’s younger brother, Shubhdeep.
Videos from the event have gone viral on social media, capturing moments of Channi attending the celebration. He was dressed in a black kurta-pyjama paired with a pink turban.
During the cake-cutting ceremony, Shubhdeep’s mother, Charan Kaur, lovingly held him in her arms, while his father, Balkaur Singh, stood beside them, marking the special occasion with family and well-wishers.
In March 2024, almost 22 months after Sidhu Moosewala’s tragic passing, his parents were blessed with a baby boy. Sharing the joyful news, Balkaur Singh took to Instagram to make the announcement. “With the blessings of the lakhs and crores who love Shubhdeep, Akal Purakh (Almighty) has given us a younger brother for Shubh. With the blessings of Waheguru, the family is healthy, and we are thankful to all the well-wishers for giving us so much love.”
