EXO teases fan meet post Sehun’s military return; but fans are concerned about something else - find out

The revelation came during EXO's 13IRTHDAY HOME PARTY, a Weverse live broadcast held today, attended by members Suho, Chanyeol, D.O. (Do Kyung Soo), and Kai.

As K-pop juggernauts EXO mark 13 years since their debut, excitement is building among fans following a surprise announcement of an upcoming fan meeting—set to be held after member Sehun completes his military service. However, the celebratory mood is tinged with concern, as fans fear the exclusion of CBX (Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin) from the event due to their ongoing legal dispute with SM Entertainment.

The revelation came during EXO's 13IRTHDAY HOME PARTY, a Weverse live broadcast held today, attended by members Suho, Chanyeol, D.O. (Do Kyung Soo), and Kai. The group reminisced about their journey, shared laughs, played games, and reflected on the emotional milestone of being together for over a decade. Suho stirred anticipation when he shared, “Since we're back, we need to reunite. We're planning to hold a fan meeting too. So please look forward to it.” Kai echoed the sentiment, saying, “Now all that's left is to meet EXO-L. I hope the next 13 years will be a happy time that will make them feel short.”

While the announcement thrilled fans, it also raised questions about the group’s current dynamic. CBX members—Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin—were notably absent from the anniversary live, as they continue to be embroiled in a legal conflict with SM Entertainment over contract issues. Their non-participation sparked online speculation that they might not be involved in the planned fan meeting either.

Fans have been vocal about their disappointment, with many calling for a full-group (OT9) reunion, including CBX and Lay, who has been promoting mainly in China. Social media platforms saw a surge of messages from EXO-Ls yearning for the group’s iconic harmony. “I don’t think it’d be exciting to not hear the voices of the three main vocalists with EXO anymore,” wrote one X (formerly Twitter) user. Others stressed how much they miss the chemistry and balance that CBX brought to EXO’s performances.

With Sehun’s discharge on the horizon, many are holding out hope that EXO can find common ground and deliver the full-group experience that fans have been waiting for—possibly even hinting at a world tour to follow.
