ENHYPEN, SEVENTEEN, Stray Kids lead the pack as K-Pop artists sweep IFPI 2024 rankings

The International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) has announced the top-selling albums of 2024, and K-pop artists dominated the chart. On February 18, the IFPI revealed its annual Global Album Sales Chart, showcasing the albums with the highest physical sales and digital downloads worldwide. This year, K-pop artists secured nine out of the top 10 spots!

The only exception in the top 10 was Taylor Swift’s album The Tortured Poets Department, which held the No. 1 spot. However, the rest of the chart was completely taken over by K-pop artists. ENHYPEN’s album ROMANCE : UNTOLD ranked at No. 2, followed closely by SEVENTEEN at No. 3 and No. 4 with SPILL THE FEELS and 17 IS RIGHT HERE, respectively. Stray Kids also made an impressive mark by taking two spots in the top 10: No. 5 with ATE and No. 6 with 合 (HOP).

Other K-pop groups that made it to the top 10 include IVE, whose album IVE SWITCH came in at No. 7, NCT DREAM at No. 8 with DREAM( )SCAPE, aespa’s Armageddon at No. 9, and TXT with minisode 3: TOMORROW at No. 10.
