Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi has recently been diagnosed with dengue. The actor was currently filming Pawan Kalyan starrer film OG and has taken a temporary break from the shooting following the diagnosis.
According to Bollywood Hungama, Emraan fell sick while shooting the film in Aarey Colony, Goregaon in Mumbai. A source close to the production has confirmed to the outlet that he's currently recuperating after experiencing symptoms.
The source said, “Emraan Hashmi was shooting for OG in Aarey Colony, Goregaon, Mumbai. That’s where he contracted the disease. He was not feeling well and had dengue-like symptoms. On the recommendation of the doctors, he got his tests done. The test confirmed that he is suffering from dengue.”
“He has been advised rest. Emraan, being a thorough professional, immediately told the makers about his condition and expressed regret over his inability to shoot. The makers understood the situation; they told him not to worry and that he should focus on his health as that comes first,” said the insider.

The source has further informed the outlet that the actor is currently resting at his home, adding, “There’s no clarity yet but he’ll probably be out of action for a week. Once he recuperates, he’ll resume shooting for OG.”
For the unversed, Emraan is all set to make his Telugu debut with the upcoming film OG. The pan Indian film is scheduled to hit the theatres on September 25.
Meanwhile, Emraan Hashmi will also soon star in another Telugu film, Goodachari 2, with Adivi Sesh in the lead role. The actor is also gearing up for the highly anticipated Awarapan 2, directed by Nitin Kakkar.
