Dipika Kakar not making a comeback on tv

Dipika Kakar is famous for her stint in Sasural Simar Ka.

There have been reports doing the rounds that Dipika has come on board for a new project helmed by Sargun Mehta and Ravi Dubey under the banner of Dreamiyata Entertainment. The media report also mentioned her being paired opposite Vivian Dsena.

Dipika took a sabbatical post her delivery and had given a statement that she wants to make a comeback to acting soon once she recovers and gets a go ahead from the doctor. She is going through her cancer treatment.

Now Pinkvilla has exclusively reported that this news is not true. The publication quoted a source as, "It is not true. She is only focusing on her health and quality time with her family."

Dipika was last seen on Celebrity MasterChef.

Dipika had undergone a 14 hour surgery after being diagnosed by stage to liver cancer.

It was only recently that through her vlog she updated her fans about her stitches healing well. The entire family is taking very good care of her and making sure that all the instructions by the doctor are followed.

The actress also spoke about getting a mammography.

Taking to her vlog she shared details about the same. In the video, Dipika mentioned that in January, when she did Celebrity MasterChef, she had a lot of pain in her left shoulder. At that time, they did not realise the reason it happened until the doctor informed them that it is because of the enlargement of the lymph nodes.

She also mentioned that she then had the same pain in her left breast and the doctors thought that it was the reason.

Looks like the fans of Dipika have to wait a little longer for her return on television.
