Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor brought the storm during the 2000s when she debuted her zero figure in the 2008 film Tashan. The actress has since been known for her slim figure, with her fans frequently wondering about her diet.
However, the actress has now become a mother of two, but has still followed the same diet for the last 18 years. Kareena’s longtime dietician, Rujuta Diwekar, has revealed the secret of Kareena Kapoor’s healthy lifestyle.
During a recent interview with The Lallantop, dietician Rujuta shared that Kareena eats “dry fruits like almonds, raisins or figs as soon as she wakes up; paratha or poha for breakfast; dal and rice for lunch; cheese toast (sometimes) or mango/mango milkshake (seasonal) for evening snack; and khichdi with ghee/pulao for dinner.”
The dietician further noted that when the actress is on sets, she prefers rice and daal (pulses) for lunch as it is more accessible. However, when she’s at home, Kareena eats roti-sabzi (chapati-vegetable) for lunch. The dietician further revealed that the actress also prefers to have khichdi with ghee for four to five days a week.

Meanwhile, Kareena Kapoor has also previously reflected on her diet and admitted the same during the launch of Rujuta's new book Mitahara: Food Wisdom From My Indian Kitchen earlier this year.
Meanwhile, Rujuta started working with Kareena when the actress was preparing for her action comedy, Tashan. She has been her dietitian for the last 18 years. The dietician also credits Kareena for getting her the opportunity to write her first book in 2009, Don’t Lose Your Mind, Lose Your Weight.
