Hollywood couple Denise Richards and Aaron Phypers are parting ways after over six years of marriage. According to multiple media reports, Phypers filed for divorce on Monday, 7 July, at the Los Angeles County Superior Court, officially citing 4 July 2025 as the date of separation.

Aaron, 52, has listed “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split, as reported by People. He is also seeking spousal support from Richards and has requested that certain personal belongings — including his motorcycle, power tools, and sports car — be confirmed as his separate property. Richards has not yet made a public statement regarding the filing, and her representatives have declined to comment thus far.

The news of their separation comes just months after the debut of their Bravo reality series Denise Richards & Her Wild Things, which gave audiences an intimate look into their family life.

The show prominently features Richards’ daughters — Sami, 21, and Lola, 20 — whom she shares with ex-husband Charlie Sheen, as well as her adopted daughter, Eloise, 14.

Richards and Phypers began dating in late 2017 and tied the knot in a Malibu ceremony in September 2018. Prior to his relationship with Richards, Phypers had been married to Desperate Housewives actress Nicollette Sheridan; that marriage formally ended in 2018, shortly before he wed Richards.

Despite their now-confirmed split, the pair had publicly celebrated their relationship in recent years. In a heartfelt Instagram post marking their wedding anniversary in September 2024, Phypers wrote: “Happy anniversary to my sweetest love! Thank you for always being there, my beautiful wife.”
