Darshan Thoogudeepa's popular movie Namma Preethiya Ramu is going to be re-released in theaters. The movie will be shown on Valentine's Day, February 14, just two days before Darshan’s birthday on February 16. Fans are excited to see this movie again on the big screen, as it played a big role in Darshan's career and is considered one of his best films.
Namma Preethiya Ramu tells the story of Ramu, a man who is blind and survives by singing on the streets. One day, he meets a man who promises to restore his eyesight. Ramu trusts him, but he soon finds out that the man has evil intentions.
Darshan, who plays Ramu, gave an amazing performance. To make his role as a blind person more realistic, Darshan chose not to wear his lenses during filming. This decision made his acting more convincing, according to many fans. Although it was difficult to shoot the film without lenses, Darshan stayed focused. After the film was completed, he needed eye surgery and still faces eye problems today. Sometimes, he even feels pain in his left eye.
