Coldplay's Chris Martin pauses mid-performance to help fan in trouble, says, "least make sure you’re looking after each other..."

Coldplay's Music of the Spheres India tour wrapped up in Ahmedabad with its final concert on January 26. During the performance, lead singer Chris Martin paused the show midway to check on the safety of a fan who appeared to be overwhelmed by the crowd, showing his concern for the well-being of his audience.

A viral video from the concert shows Chris Martin performing My Universe, when he suddenly paused mid-song, despite the crowd continuing to sing along. Noticing a fan in distress, he spoke up, saying, “Hold on, hold on. Hey, are you okay? Can you put her there so she is safe, please? You sit here, because it’s getting squished. Or just sit down there. That’s safer. My Universe again, please. I’m sorry. You stay there, you’re safe now. Okay, let’s go from the beginning. Please make sure you’re looking after each other. It’s very important."

Stopping the performance mid-way, he quickly intervened to ensure the fan's safety, and after the situation was under control, he resumed the show and fans were left cheering for him.

Fans quickly reacted on social media appreciating his gesture and his concern for the safety of his fans. One fan wrote, "big big big respect for any artist that does this." Another fan commented, "This alone puts him in such an above level than most artists."

Coldplay kicked off their Music of the Spheres India tour in Mumbai on January 18, performing at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on the 18th, 19th, and 21st. The tour continued with two shows at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium on January 25 and 26. The final concert on Sunday was live-streamed on Disney+ Hotstar for fans who couldn't attend in person, leaving fans mesmerized by the spectacular performance.
