His rigid focus on procedure doesn’t sit well with Daya and Abhijeet, who are known for their field instincts and old-school methods.

In a key moment, Daya confidently declares that a breakthrough is on the horizon: “Barbosa is as good as dead.”

The line triggers visible tension, prompting ACP Ayushmaan to respond curtly, “Yeh kaam humara kanoon hai, gangster banne ka nahi” (Our job is to uphold the law, not become gangsters).
