Bollywood actress Nushrratt Bharuccha has recently brought a storm on the internet with the release of the gripping trailer of her upcoming sequel, Chhorii 2. The film was originally released in 2021 and received mixed reviews from critics.
However, the actress is returning to the horror drama with the makers revealing a thrilling trailer. The makers have also revealed that Chhorii 2 will be available to stream on April 11 on Amazon Prime Video.
The official Instagram account of Amazon Prime Video shared the trailer with the caption, “A new level of fear awaits… #Chhorii2TrailerOutNow. #Chhorii2OnPrime, April 11.”
Chhorii 2 trailer gave a glimpse into Soha Ali Khan's intense avatar. The trailer opens with a haunting tale of a king who orders the killing of his newborn daughter.
The trailer then unfolds into a series of eerie and intense scenes, showcasing a mother's desperate fight to protect her child from evil forces, including a menacing Soha Ali Khan.
The trailer notably received compliments from Nushrratt’s fans and friends. Additionally, several Bollywood celebrities, including Vidya Balan and Mrunal Thakur, showered the film with praise and re-shared the trailer on their Instagram Stories.
However, Nushrratt appreciated Vidya Balan and Mrunal Thakur’s appreciation. She reshared Balan’s post on her Instagram Story and wrote, “Always been inspired by your strength and choices, thanks for supporting this Chhorii @balanvidya.

The plot of the upcoming sequel revolves around a mother's unwavering love for her daughter, set against a backdrop of gender inequality.
Alongside Nushrratt Bharuccha and Soha Ali Khan, Chhorii features an ensemble cast that includes Saurabh Goyal, Gashmeer Mahajani, Pallavi Ajay, Kuldeep Sareen, and Hardika Sharma.
The upcoming sequel is directed by Vishal Furia, who also co-wrote the film with Ajit Jagtap. The film was produced by Bhushan Kumar, Vikram Malhotra, Krishan Kumar, and Jack Davis.
