Why Is Military Service Mandatory for BTS Members?
All physically fit men between the ages of 18 and 35 in South Korea are legally obligated to serve in the military for 18 to 21 months.
In keeping with the civic and patriotic responsibilities deeply embedded in South Korean society, this conscription is intended to protect national security and preserve the nation's sovereignty.
In order to fulfil this national duty, BTS members—like all South Korean men—had to put their thriving careers on hold.
Fans, affectionately known as ARMY, are giddy with anticipation over BTS's future plans now that the majority of the group's members have finished their service. Astute fans recently spotted J-Hope wearing an ensemble that was reminiscent of the group's famous Run BTS series, leading to a lot of conjecture that some BTS members might soon accompany him on stage.
Now that only Suga is still serving, it doesn't seem impossible for the group to have a surprise reunion.
