BTS’ Jeon Jungkook celebrates 28th birthday

BTS’ youngest member Jeon Jungkook doesn’t do ordinary birthdays. On Sunday night, he marked turning 28 with a livestream that swung between warm gratitude, playful chaos, and some downright shocking revelations. Fans, as always, hung onto every word.

He started off simple—thanking his parents. “First of all, thank you to my mom & dad for giving birth to me. Thanks a lot for giving birth to a healthy me, I'll try my best to live healthier. I hope you can do whatever you wish in life and live well & healthy.”

Jungkook said, his usual grounded self despite global superstardom. He shrugged off the fuss around his big day, adding, “There’s really nothing special on my birthday. It just happens to be the day I was born.”

Then came the curveball. Jungkook casually debuted a brand-new labret piercing, just below his signature mole. ARMY, predictably, lost it. He admitted the piercing wasn’t easy—he even chipped a tooth in the process. Laughing it off, he showed the fresh piercing to the camera:“I am sure some of my ARMY will also be having their birthday today. Here's wishing them too. I got a piercing here, though it is red right now.”

But the mood shifted when he spoke about repeated intrusions at his home. Jungkook didn’t sugarcoat it. “Another person tried to enter my house. Someone came to see me at my house, I’ve become a celebrity. Don’t come, please. Don’t come, really. If you put your foot in my parking lot, you won’t be able to go out. You can’t leave unless I open it for you. You’re trapped and there’s CCTV. I’m watching everything. If you don’t want to go to the police station, don’t come in.” He went on to describe catching one attempt in real time, watching CCTV before confronting the situation with police present.

Despite the heavy note, Jungkook wrapped up the stream warmly, promising to cut a cake and thanking fans for staying by his side. It was classic Jungkook, open, unfiltered, and still finding ways to connect with ARMY.
