Samantha Ruth Prabhu spoke honestly about her struggles at the NDTV World Summit 2025. She talked about how she separated from ex-husband NagaChaitanya and how a health problem made her life more stressful and got lots of criticism.
Samantha said she has never said she is perfect, but she is trying hard to be more honest in her personal and professional life. She said, "I'm not perfect. I could make mistakes or fall, but I'm working on getting better." She also said that being open and honest about her problems came at a cost. "It has come with a lot of trolling and judgment."
The actress stated that a lot of people just see the pleasant side of being famous, but that's not the whole story. She said that being a public figure makes this process harder and that being truthful is not a goal but a journey.
She also said it was strange that social media and fame are linked. "Everyone can see how the top 1 percent in the world lives... That might make you not want to do it. Now is the time to be responsible as well, she added.

Samantha understood how hard it was to deal with her well-known personal life, which included her marriage, divorce, and illness. She also knew that the constant attention from the public made those things even worse.
She also said that these problems taught her that being "vulnerable" is not a sign of weakness, but a normal part of being human. She was also disappointed that people were so cruel when they told her not to talk about parts of her vacation.
Samantha will next appear in Rakt Brahmand: The Bloody Kingdom and she has also announced a Telugu movie called Maa Inti Bangaram.
