Actress Esha Deol marked Christmas 2025 with a festive social media update that quickly grabbed attention online. On December 25, Deol shared a video on her Instagram account in which she can be seen sporting a cheerful Santa hat paired with a vibrant green and red outfit, capturing the holiday spirit.
The clip, however, stood out not only for its seasonal charm but also because Esha Deol disabled the comments section, a move that sparked curiosity and discussion among her followers.
The video itself appears to be more than just a personal holiday greeting — it doubles as a promotional post for a brand. However, esha turned off comments as the post comes a few days her father and legendary actor Dharmendra’s death.

Just a few days ago, Esha shared a heartbreaking note on her Instagram Story and urged people not to judge her for keeping her work commitments after Dharmendra’s death. She wrote, “I had kept a few work commitments on hold for a long time, which I would be posting & sharing with you all now in the coming days. Please understand me as a human & most importantly as a daughter who is still grieving the loss of her most loving, precious father. A loss I would never get over."
Esha Deol also shared, “If I had things my way, I would wish to not be on this platform for some time and just take a break. But I can’t do that. So try & be kind and understanding. Thank you for the love & support always. Love you all." Esha Deol turned off the comments for her latest brand promotion post.
Dharmendra, who is also the father of Ahana Deol and, from his first marriage to Prakash Kaur, sons Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, passed away on November 24.
Earlier in the month, the veteran actor, aged 89, had been admitted to Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital after a decline in his health. Although he was later discharged and brought home under medical supervision, his condition failed to improve, and he breathed his last at his residence.
