According to India Today, their plea has been denied by the court. Shilpa and Raj are denied travel to Phuket, Thailand, in the first week of October from 2 to 5th.
The Bombay HC has dismissed their plea seeking suspension of the Look Out Circular (LOC) issued against them.
A division bench featuring Chief Justice Shree Chandrashekhar and Justice Gautam A. Ankhad was set up for the hearing of Shilpa Shetty’s plea. The bench has now directed the state to file a reply to Raj Kundra’s plea by October 8. The matter will be heard on the same day.
Additionally, the court denied temporary relief for travel abroad in the first week of October.
Niranjan Mundargi and Keral Mehta, the couple's attorneys, contended that Raj has fully cooperated with the investigation and has already appeared before the EOW following her summons last month.
The lawyer also argued that, despite a different case filed in 2021, the pair had already travelled overseas several times and returned without breaking any rules.
Meanwhile, chief public prosecutor Mankunwar Deshmukh has requested the court not to entertain the plea. He clarified that the couple has two serious criminal cases pending against them and said, “It would not be appropriate to grant relief at this stage.”
For the unversed, the LOC was issued in relation to an investigation into a cheating case worth Rs 60 crore conducted by the state police's Economic Offences Wing (EOW).

In addition to mentioning confirmed reservations for a family vacation to Phuket, the couple also mentioned their next international travel schedule, which includes a work trip to Los Angeles from October 21–24 and trips to the Maldives and Colombo from October 26–28 to expand Hotel Bastian, their hospitality business.
In addition, they requested authorisation to visit Raj Kundra's parents in London and Dubai from December 20 to January 6, 2026.
The case started when NBFC Lotus Capital Financial Services Ltd. director Deepak Kothari filed a complaint, claiming that the couple approached him for a business loan through loan agent Rajesh Arya.
