Ayushmann Khurrana expresses gratitude for family, fans in emotional post after Thamma’s Success: "This family has seen a lot in the last few years"

Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana shared a heartfelt post celebrating the success of his latest film Thamma, which continues to perform strongly at the box office.

Marking the highest opening for an origin story within the MHCU (which includes Stree, Bhediya, and Munjya), Thamma has lived up to expectations as Ayushmann’s big Diwali release, connecting deeply with family audiences.

On the occasion, he took to Instagram to share an emotional note reflecting on his journey this year, the personal challenges he faced, and moments with his family, accompanied by a series of pictures and videos.

His caption read, "This family has seen a lot in the last few years. The success of Thamma is like a beautiful divine light. It is a result of collective prayers of the young and old present here.

He further wrote, "आयुष्मान भव: .. that’s what my father used to say whenever I touched his feet. When Paresh ji said आयुष्मान भव: in the film, it felt like my father, my guardian angel had blessed me."

He also remembered his late father and thanked the audience for the love recieved by Thamma. "My family, my late father and the audience has blessed Thamma with love. Don’t be surprised if you come across an overwhelmed me in one of the theatres in the suburbs. I may drop in to say Hi and Thank you!"
