Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are preparing to move into their glamorous new sea-facing bungalow in Pali Hills shortly after Diwali. As they spend their final days at their beloved Vaastu home, glimpses of the couple at their current residence have been going viral on social media.

In a recent social media post, Alia and Ranbir were seen posing with two staff members at Vaastu. Alia looked elegant in a blue salwar kameez, while Ranbir opted for a dark blue kurta.

The couple will soon relocate to their newly constructed Rs 150 crore bungalow, which once belonged to the legendary Raj Kapoor. Alia and Ranbir got married at their current residence in 2022, and later welcomed their first child, Raha, at the same home.

The property was originally built by Raj Kapoor and his wife Krishna Raj Kapoor, and later came into the possession of Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor.

The six-storey house, valued at Rs 250 crore, will now accommodate Ranbir’s mother, Neetu Kapoor, along with the couple and their daughter. The bungalow has been under construction for a long time.

In an interview with The Times Of India, Alia shared her emotions about leaving their home and moving in to the new bungalow. She said, "This is our last Diwali in the home where she (Raha) was born. So, it's truly an emotional moment. However, it's also very thrilling because I realise she may not recall this particular Diwali, but the memories created will accumulate and leave an impression on her. Diwali is all about emotions; it should evoke warmth and brightness."

She added, "This has been a long time coming, and honestly, the emotions are quite overwhelming. I feel incredibly fortunate to experience this chapter in my life. We're amidst the chaos of moving, yet my heart is filled with joy. It's a significant dream materialising. The magnitude of this feeling is such that I believe it will truly resonate with us months or perhaps a year after we settle in."

Meanwhile, Ranbir and Alia are set to star in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming film Love and War, which is expected to release in 2026. The film will also feature Vicky Kaushal.
