Popular judge Frank Caprio, who also starred in Caught in Providence, passed away in August after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 88. Soon after the reports of his death swirled around the internet, tributes started pouring in, and TV actor Rajiv Adatia also joined in.

He took to his Instagram and paid a tribute to the late judge. He shared a throwback video of Judge Frank and penned in the caption, “Rest in Peace Sir [broken heart emoji] There are very few people in this world who use the power and authority they are given with compassion, fairness, and humanity.”

The caption continued, “Judge Caprio was one of those rare individuals who reminded us of what true justice should look like. In a system where so many lose faith, he stood out as a beacon of hope, showing that the law can be delivered with empathy, kindness, and understanding.”

Rajiv, who is known for Big Boss 15, Khatron Ke Khiladi 12, and Celebrity Masterchef Finalist, further noted in the caption that he was more than just a judge and called him a symbol of goodness.

“He was more than just a judge he was a symbol of goodness in a world that often feels heavy with corruption and selfishness. Through his words and actions, he reminded us that behind every case there is a human being, with struggles, pain, and stories that deserve to be heard. His courtroom became a place where justice met compassion, where people felt seen, respected, and valued,” continued the actor.

Rajiv noted that Judge Caprio had taught people that true strength lay not in harshness but in mercy, not in punishment but in understanding. He also suggested that he had shown them that the smallest acts of kindness could restore faith in humanity.

He penned, “Judge Caprio taught us that true strength lies not in harshness but in mercy, not in punishment but in understanding. He showed us that the smallest acts of kindness can restore faith in humanity. The way he touched lives, not just in his courtroom but across the world through his example, is something that will never be forgotten.”

For the unversed, Frank Caprio, who also served as Chief Judge of the Municipal Court of Providence, R.I., from 1985 to 2023, revealed his cancer diagnosis for the first time on Instagram in December 2023. At the time, he revealed that he was “fully prepared to fight” the disease.
