Bigg Boss 18: Shilpa Shirodkar reveals sister Namrata Shirodkar and Mahesh Babu's reactions on her participation: They are very happy for me

Shilpa Shirodkar, the younger sister of Bollywood actress Namrata Shirodkar and sister-in-law to Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu, is all set to make her comeback into the world of entertainment through the popular reality show, Bigg Boss 18. The Kishen Kanhaiya actress is currently locked inside the Bigg Boss house, Shilpa opened up about her family's reactions and her own expectations from the show.

In an interview with the Times of India before her entry in the house, Shilpa revealed that Namrata and Mahesh are incredibly supportive of her decision to participate in Bigg Boss. "They are very happy for me. They are very proud of me and they just know that whatever I do, I'll do it myself. I know I'm going to make them very proud. As a family, we are a very close-knit family. They are very supportive of me," she said.

While India Today had earlier reported that Shilpa refused to talk about Namrata and Mahesh, the actress clarified that she is not hiding anything. "I have no secrets, and hence I wouldn't need to be cautious or image-conscious. I will be myself and play the game wholeheartedly," she stated.

Shilpa Shirodkar, who started her career around the same time as Salman Khan, has been a prominent figure in the Hindi film industry. She has starred in several successful films like Kishen Kanhaiya, Khuda Gawah, Gopi Kishan, Bewafa Sanam, and Return of Jewel Thief. Interestingly, although she and Salman Khan have known each other for years, they have never had the opportunity to work together. Shilpa has mentioned that they are not friends, but simply acquaintances.
