The Cannes Film Festival officially kicked off on Tuesday (May 14) as celebrities walked the red carpet into the plush Grand Theatre Lumiere to honour Hollywood actor Meryl Streep before settling in to watch this year's opening film, 'The Second Act'. Pierre Niney, Anaïs Demoustier, Pierfrancesco Favino, and Anamaria Vartolomei premiered their latest adaptation of the classic revenge drama 'The Count of Monte Cristo' out of competition at the Cannes Film Festival. And, Oscar-winning actor Gary Oldman said "he's happiest he's ever been". Oldman made the remarks at a press conference in Cannes for his latest film 'Parthenope', which tackles the theme of longing for lost youth. Watch to know more.
