Babil Khan and Jasleen Royal enjoyed the massive success of their music video, Dastoor. The music video is loved by the fans and garnered more than five million streams on YouTube. However, Babil has now reflected on his experience of working with Jasleen.
Irrfan Khan’s son Babil recently took to his Instagram and shared a series of photos from the music video and revealed why he picked to star in the music video. He expressed his excitement with the success and recalled, “When Jasleen wanted to do a music video with me everyone was overjoyed (I mean she’s a star and I’m still on the journey), I was overjoyed too but not for the same reasons.”
Babil added, “I have known this beautiful girl since she was making videos on YouTube a decade ago and her voice has and will always always sweep me off my feet and place me on a cloud that reassures me that my troubles are away even if just for 3 minutes (assuming that’s the average time for a song).”
Babil Khan further noted, “I did this video because @jasleenroyal has a voice that only god can give and sometimes a voice can save a soul.” He concluded his post by writing, “Dastoor - Jasleen : youtube it.”
Directed by Taani Tanvi, the music video is produced by Japji Singh alongside Jasleen under the banner of Warner Music India. Dastoor marks Babil Khan’s music video debut.
