Tiger Shroff's action drama Baaghi 4 finally hit the theatres on Friday with mixed reviews. Despite having a buzz and a decent opening day collection, the film failed to match Baaghi 3 collection.
According to a trade website, Baaghi 4 earned Rs 12 crore on its first day of release with 28.32% Hindi occupancy on Friday. The film registered 22.16% morning shows, 26.37% afternoon shows, 27.51% evening shows, and 37.23% occupancy in night shows.
However, the film failed to match the opening day collection of Baaghi 3, which had earned Rs 17.5 crore on day 1. Baaghi 2 had minted Rs 25.10 crore, and Baaghi had collected Rs 11.85 crore.
Baaghi 4 is expected to witness a surge over the next two days of the weekend. The film is facing stiff competition this week's release of The Bengal Files, last week's Param Sundari, and Lokah Chapter 1's Hindi dubbing at the box office.
Baaghi 4 also stars Sanjay Dutt and Harnaaz Sandhu in the pivotal roles. The film also stars Shreyas Talpade, Saurabh Sachdeva, Upendra Limaye, and Sonam Bajwa in key roles.
