20th Century Studios has finally unveiled the highly anticipated first look of James Cameron’s Avatar: Fire and Ash. The makers have also teased when fans will be treated with the first look teaser of the upcoming film.
The first poster gives a glimpse of the newest character Varang, portrayed by Game of Thrones fame actor Oona Chaplin. Varang is believed to be the leader of the Mangkwan Clan, also known as Ash People.
The caption of the post teased that Avatar: Fire and Ash trailer will be attached with The Fantastic Four: First Steps in the theatres. The caption reads, “Meet Varang in Avatar: Fire and Ash. Be among the first to watch the trailer, exclusively in theaters this weekend with The Fantastic Four: First Steps.”
The third instalment in the Avatar franchise will take the viewers back to Pandora and will introduce two new Na’vi tribes: The peaceful merchant-like Wind Traders who traverse the world in dirigible-esque skyships, and the warlike Fire People who ride on flying beasts.
The film will begin with the events of Avatar: The Way of Water with Jake and Neytiri still dealing with the loss of their son Neteyam.

The upcoming film will feature returning cast including Sam Worthington as Jake Sully, Zoe Saldaña as Neytiri and Oona Chaplin as Carang. The trailer is speculated to also feature Sigourney Weaver as Kiri, Stephen Lang as Colonel Miles Quaritch, Giovanni Ribisi as Parker Selfridge, Kate Winslet as Ronal, Cliff Curtis as Tonowari, Joel David Moore as Dr. Norm Spellman, and Edie Falco as General Frances Ardmore.
Avatar: Fire and Ash will hit the theatres on December 19.
