Music composer Amaal Mallik just made a surprise splash into Bigg Boss 19, entering the house during the grand premiere on Sunday. Known for his candid nature and bold takes on social media, Amaal’s presence is already stirring curiosity — not just among fans, but also among family members.
While the audience may have been excited, his younger brother Armaan Malik wasn’t entirely on board. As fans flooded him with questions on X (formerly Twitter), Armaan didn’t hold back. When asked how he felt about Amaal being part of the show, he replied honestly:
“Obviously was never for it, but ab Amaal bhai sahab ko kaun samjhaaye. Anyway, boarding school samajhke kuch masti karke aajaye waapas. Bahut gaane pending hai (Obviously, I was never in favour of it, but now who can explain anything to Amaal bhai sahab? Anyway, let him treat it like boarding school, have some fun, and come back. We have a lot of songs pending.)”

He also confessed he’ll be watching Bigg Boss, but only for one reason — to keep an eye on Amaal, “Just to see what masti (fun) Amaal’s upto.”
And when a fan joked about Amaal's snoring in the house, Armaan had the perfect comeback, “Isiliye I said best of luck to the others.”
Meanwhile, Salman Khan had a few thoughts of his own. On the premiere night, even he admitted to being surprised at Amaal’s name on the contestant list.
With his signature tongue-in-cheek humour, Salman mentioned Amaal’s “dubious nature” and “controversial tweets,” subtly warning him to tread carefully: no wild statements or unnecessary drama that could stir the pot too much.

With Bigg Boss 19 now streaming on JioCinema and airing on Colors TV, all eyes are on how Amaal will handle the challenges of the house — and whether his outspoken personality will make him a crowd favourite or spark fireworks.
Either way, fans are watching, and Armaan clearly has his brother’s back, even if it’s with a few jokes and a whole lot of sibling love.
