Rumours about Bollywood couple Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar expecting their first child have been making rounds on social media. The speculations gained traction when Shibani was spotted at Hinduja Hospital. However, the rumours were quickly debunked, with Farhan’s spokesperson confirming that there was no truth to the news.

Veteran actress Shabana Azmi, Farhan’s stepmother, also addressed the speculation in an interview with ETimes. Shabana stated, “There’s no truth to it,” effectively putting an end to the buzz. This clarification came after paparazzi videos fueled rumours about the couple’s visit to the hospital.

Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar tied the knot in February 2022 in a dreamy and intimate wedding ceremony surrounded by close friends and family. Since then, the duo has frequently given fans glimpses into their blissful married life through social media posts.

Amidst the speculation, Farhan Akhtar celebrated his birthday with a heartwarming moment shared by filmmaker Farah Khan, who shares her birthday with him. Farah gifted her "little brother" a DVD of Manoj Kumar’s iconic 1981 film Kranti. In a playful reel posted on Instagram, Farhan is seen unwrapping the gift and breaking into a rendition of the title track from Kranti. Farah captioned the post, “What do you gift your little brother who has everything? A piece of our childhood, of course! Happy birthday @faroutakhtar. Keep the kranti going!”

On the work front, Farhan Akhtar has an exciting lineup of projects. He is set to star in the war drama 120 Bahadur, portraying Major Shaitan Singh, PVC, in a story based on the heroic Battle of Rezang La. The release date for this ambitious film is yet to be announced.

Farhan is also returning to the director’s chair with the much-anticipated Don 3, featuring Ranveer Singh stepping into the titular role alongside Kiara Advani. Reports also suggest that Priyanka Chopra may make her Bollywood comeback with this film.
