Veteran actor Anupam Kher is celebrating 39 years of his 1986 film, Karma. To mark the milestone occasion, he shared a series of photos from the film and expressed gratitude towards Subhash Ghai for making the film.
Anupam Kher took to his Instagram and wrote, “KARMA completes 39 years. What a film! What an amazing and stylish character #DrDang created by one and only Mr. #SubhashGhai!”
Karma also stars Anil Kapoor, who also took to his X (formerly Twitter) to celebrate the. He shared a scene featuring himself in the clip and wrote, “After 39 Years of Karma, it’s time to shake the single screens, in style! @bindasbhidu @AnupamPKher @SubhashGhai1.”

Karma features Jackie Shroff, Anil Kapoor, late Dilip Kumar, Anupam Kher, Naseeruddin Shah, the late Sridevi, and Poonam Dhillon in the key roles.
Karma is considered a major commercial success, reportedly becoming the highest-grossing film in Indian cinema in 1986 and the eleventh highest-grossing Hindi film of the decade.
It marked Dilip Kumar’s first collaboration with Nutan. Additionally, it reunited Subhash Ghai and Dilip Kumar after their successful collaboration on the 1982 film Vidhaata.
The film follows a former police officer who recruits three convicts to help him get revenge and destroy the terrorist organisation after a terrorist leader kills his family.
