Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor was mourning the death of his mother, Nirmal Kapoor, who died at the age of 90 on May 2 in Mumbai. However, the actor has finally taken time to react to Operation Sindoor on Friday, days after India and Pakistan agreed to a ceasefire.
The actor took to his Instagram and saluted the bravery of the Indian army. The actor wrote, “What needed to be done-was done. Which family does not have differences within their members, but when it comes to the nation, we stand as one. Always have, always will.”
Anil Kapoor’s post came after several Bollywood celebrities praised the Indian army and government for the retaliation against Pakistan following the Pahalgam attack that took 26 innocent lives, mostly tourists.
Meanwhile, the actor was quite inactive on his social media following his mother’s death. He has also penned an emotional tribute to his mother with a series of never-seen-before photos and called her “glue that kept our family close.”
On the work front, Anil Kapoor is currently in talks to play a villain in the upcoming Kartik Aaryan starrer film, Naagzilla - Naag Lok Ka Pehla Kaand.
Besides this, the actor has a series of exciting projects in his pipeline. He will next star in Subedar and Takht. He will also star in Dhamaal 4 alongside Ajay Devgn, Madhuri Dixit, Riteish Deshmukh and Arshad Warsi.
