Anil Kapoor pays tribute to his mother Nirmal Kapoor

Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor is mourning the death of his mother, Nirmal Kapoor. The actor has shared his first Instagram post and penned an emotional tribute to his late mother.

He shared a series of throwback photos of his mother and paid a tribute with a lengthy note. He wrote in the caption, “The love pouring in from all walks of life has been overwhelming. I truly don’t have the words to express how deeply grateful we are.”

He called his mother a ‘silent pillar’ and revealed that she kept the family close. He added, “ A silent pillar, always smiling, always caring, always bringing warmth to those around her. She was the glue that kept our family close, from our children to our grandchildren, and even our extended family and friends.”

Anil Kapoor further penned, “Her love reached far and wide, and it’s clear from the outpouring of messages and affection that she made a lasting impact on so many hearts.”

He concluded the tribute by appreciating the kind words and prayers from his family, friends, industry professionals and fans. He wrote, “A heartfelt thank you to everyone, especially from the film fraternity, for your kind words, prayers, and love. We’re truly humbled and grateful.”

For the unversed, Anil Kapoor’s mother, Nirmal Kapoor, passed away at the age of 90 on May 2 in Mumbai. She was the wife of late film producer Surinder Kapoor and the mother of four children, Boney, Anil, Sanjay, and Reena Kapoor Marwah. Several industry professionals have attended her last rites and funeral services.
