Ammy Virk starrer Godday Godday Chaa 2' poster unveiled, to release in October

The makers of the much-awaited Punjabi comedy-drama Godday Godday Chaa 2 have finally revealed the film’s first poster, and it promises to deliver double the fun, progressive humour, and heartfelt family moments.

Like its predecessor, the sequel, which is being presented by Zed Studios in collaboration with VH Media, is anticipated to be an exhilarating experience.

The first installment, Godday Godday Chaa, which released on May 26, 2023, went on to become one of Punjabi cinema's biggest hits and even win the National Film Award for Best Punjabi Feature Film. Expectations for part two are extremely high given this legacy.

Fans get a humorous preview of the ongoing "battle of the sexes" from the new poster. This time, the village women continue to dominate the wedding festivities because they are still rejoicing over their previous victory.

Alongside the gifted Tania, superstar Ammy Virk joins the cast, adding to the excitement and infusing the cherished franchise with new charm, vitality, and comedic timing.

Sharing his excitement about the film, Ammy Virk said, “In this story, the women really have us men running in circles—and the comedy that comes out of it is even crazier than before! What makes it even more special is that, beneath all the humour, there’s still a strong social message. Of course, we men will make sure our side is heard too (laughs)! Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora and written by Jagdeep Sidhu, Godday Godday Chaa 2 is set to hit cinemas worldwide on October 22, 2025, under Zee Studios in association with VH Entertainment.
