A viral video from Dubai has set social media abuzz after it showed a man who looks strikingly similar to Amitabh Bachchan getting mobbed by a massive crowd. In the clip, dozens of people on a busy street are seen rushing toward the lookalike, eager to click selfies and photographs, apparently mistaking him for the superstar.

The video was first uploaded as an Instagram story by Ahmad Mahmood and later reshared on the popular page Lovin Dubai. Within hours, it racked up more than 114,000 views and countless reactions.

In the viral clip, the Bachchan doppelgänger can be seen walking slowly through a tightly packed crowd, while people jostle for a glimpse and attempt to capture selfies with him. Many onlookers appeared convinced that they had spotted the real “Big B”.

The video sparked a wave of witty reactions online. One Instagram user wrote, “Big B from Alibaba,” a tongue-in-cheek reference that quickly became the most shared comment. Another quipped, “Only the Noon driver got a selfie.” A third joked, “When you order Amitabh Bachchan from Alibaba.”

However, not all reactions were flattering. Some netizens expressed disbelief at the frenzy. One bluntly commented, “He does not look one percent of him… just wondering how much spare time this crowd has for such stuff.” Another added, “Some people have all the time in the world and they utilise that time in moments like these.”

Meanwhile the real Amitabh Bachchan spent his Sunday filled with love from fans and the warmth of family bonding. He took to his blog, where he wrote about meeting his “well wishers” at the gates of his home in Mumbai.

“Sunday as glorious as every Sunday with the well wishers about .. the dedicated come hours before and wait in the standing .. the Ef at designated places and the rest in such grace and affection ..It be most fortunate for the likes of me to be witness to such…” he wrote.

“Family with Sundays is the delight of day .. and many that one meets after long years bring memories of the past so vividly .. such was the night last night .. Blessed are they that value the togetherness of family and their love and affection .. I rush to work .. My affection for the day,” he added.
