Amitabh Bachchan will host Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 17

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has recently shared an exciting update. He has debunked all the previous speculations about being replaced by Salman Khan on Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) and revealed that he will grace the hosting chair again.

Amitabh Bachchan took to his official Tumblr blog and shared a series of photos from the set of the reality game show. The veteran actor has kicked off the production of Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 17.

Alongside the photos, the veteran actor penned in his blog, “Shuru kar diya kaam (have started the production).” He added, “...and the prep begins the beguine…” adding a laughing emoji.

Amitabh Bachchan added in his blog, “to be back to the people .. to be with them in their desires to improve life and livings .. the opportunity that changes lives .. in an  hour…” The actor concluded his post by adding, “my love and regard, Amitabh Bachchan.”

In the photos, Amitabh Bachchan is seen sitting on a chair with a computer in front of him. He seems to be having a conversation with someone. The actor sported a multicoloured jacket, specs and a white cap in the photos.

Previously, it was reported that the veteran actor has decided to step down from KBC after hosting the show for around two decades. It was reported at the time that Salman Khan would take on the hosting gig following the veteran actor’s exit due to personal reasons.

For the unversed, Amitabh Bachchan has been hosting KBC since 2000, except for the third season, which was hosted by Shah Rukh Khan.
