Amitabh Bachchan asks fans how to grow followers on X from 49 million, followers come back with hilarious replies: "Rekha Ji k saath selfie daal k dekhiye"

Bollywood's megastar Amitabh Bachchan recently took to X with a hilarious — and quite realistic — concern. The actor, who is very active on his social media handles, is a worried man as his number of followers has been stuck at 49 million for a long time.

In an honest tweet, the Kalki actor admitted that no matter how hard he tries, his X follower count would never exceed 49 million.

He tweeted and asked his followers to help him crack the code and reach the 50 million mark: "बड़ी कोशिश कर रहे हैं, लेकिन ये 49M followers का नंबर बढ़ ही नहीं रहा है । कोई उपाय हो तो बताइए !!!"

And then the fans quickly filled his feed with responses out of which some were unusual, few innovative, and others downright hilarious suggestions, including publishing reels and behind-the-scenes bloopers, photos with Jaya Bachchan, and even a meet and greet on X.

One person tweeted: "Rekha Ji k saath selfie daal k dekhiye :)

Another wrote: "मुझे फॉलो करें! किरपा वहीं रुकी हुई है।"

Whether he follows their advice or not, one thing is certain: Amitabh Bachchan may not have broken the follower algorithm yet, but he has mastered the art of keeping followers amused.

On the professinoal front, Amitabh Bachchan recently wrapped up hosting his hit TV show Kaun Banega Crorepati. And the show is all set to return for its 17th season, just 24 days after the previous season ended on March 11.
